Indoor Environmental Quality Assessment
The DOTSON Group provides a comprehensive range of Indoor Environmental Quality Surveys for residential, commercial and institutional buildings. Residential and commercial surveys may be conducted for the prevention or in response to sick building syndrome or for allergy and asthma symptom prevention and management. Kyle Dotson is an author of the American Industrial Hygiene Association's Guidelines on the Assessment, Remediation and Post-Remediation Verification of Mold in Buildings. Clandestine Methamphetamine Laboratory Cleanup of California Real Estate
The DOTSON Group offers independent professional Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) advisory and support services to assist owners and operators of residential properties in the development and completion of the required Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan (PSAWP) and Final Report in accordance with the State of California Methamphetamine Contaminated Property Cleanup Act of 2005. The State of California's newly developed Health-Based Meth Cleanup Standard of 1.5ug/100sqcm has now become law. Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems
The DOTSON Group offers expertise in the selection and implementation of proper exposure controls such as industrial ventilation, appropriate administrative practices and procedures, and proper personal protective equipment. Kyle Dotson implemented one of the first American National Standard based Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (ANSI Z10 2005) at a Fortune 500 electric power company in the US. The ANSI Z10 standard system sections that were fully implemented included Management Safety Leadership and Employee Participation, Planning, Implementation and Operation, Evaluation and Corrective Action, and Management Review.

Steps addressed during the implementation included defining roles and responsibilities, drafting policy statements for management approval, developing self-assessment and prioritization processes and protocols, and guiding internal staff in the conducting of self audits of plant operations. Benefits have been seen well beyond improvements in health and safety, including employee morale, productivity and performance, and has contributed to the achievement of other organizational and business objectives.
